Pancakes being cooked outside over an open fire at a Belmont kitchen garden workshop

Once again I am absolutely delighted to be working with Belmont House and Gardens in 2024 for some very special kitchen garden workshops throughout the year. Join us for the first of two special dates over the summer holidays.

About the Event-

A typical kitchen garden workshop

Step outside this spring with Wild Classroom, where you and your family will be able to cook over fire  during a half-day workshop using fresh produce from our Kitchen Garden.

On arrival, you will be taken to the kitchen garden to collect your produce for the day, while also having the opportunity to view the garden itself and meet members of the Belmont gardening team responsible for growing them.

After this you will head over to our outdoor cooking area where each family will have their own table and tools to prepare food to cook over fire using a range of techniques. Some examples of the recipes inspired by these workshops can be found here. Typically, on these longer sessions you will have the chance to cook and enjoy 3-4 different dishes mostly using very local and seasonal produce, tummies will be full!

Once the session is complete you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful setting at Belmont.

£70.00 includes the registration of 2 adults and 2 children aged 4 – 15 years. Bookings are non-refundable. Additional people £15.00 each.

All attendees must complete a health questionnaire before attending this event. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

To reserve a space please visit the Belmont Website and book here.
