Brogdale Cooking Workshop
Time & Location
10:00 – 15:00
Faversham, Brogdale Farm House, Brogdale Rd, Faversham ME13 8XZ, UK
Once again I am delighted to be working with Brogdale Collections for four very special cooking workshops over the summer using the freshest fruit from their orchards.
About the Event
Join us this summer for some fun, food and fire, using the very best local, seasonal and foraged foods. This two hour workshop will include a tour of Brogdale Collections stunning Heritage fruit collection, where you and your family will be able to enjoy exploring a huge variety of heritage tree fruit including early seasonal apples and vast array of plums, damsons and gages.
Families will then return to the campfire where some of the freshly picked fruit will be put to culinary use in a hands-on cooking workshop, making seasonal delights such as apple crumble, pea and apple soup, and plum and blackberry cobbler, all of course will be cooked over an open fire. Examples of many of the dishes inspired by my cooking workshops at this wonderful location can be found here. There will be plenty to eat and enjoy (and take home!), as well as a chance to ask any outdoor cooking questions that you may have.
These workshops always prove very popular and two will run on each day at 10am and 1pm and will last approximately 2 hours.
