Please join us for this very special workshop in conjunction with Kent Downs at the stunning Geosite that is the Pines Garden situated in St Margaret’s Bay, near Dover. 

About the Event-

A hands on workshop in a stunning location

Kent Downs National Landscape the Bay Trust and Wild Classroom are pleased to announce a very special workshop this Summer.

On Saturday 22nd June  families will be able to join us for a cooking experience like no other set in the beautiful surroundings of th Pines Calyx and Gardens. Young people and adults alike will get the opportunity to cook hands-on over fire to create our ever popular vegetable risotto  using  some local fresh ingredients from the garden of England. 

The session will start with a tour of some of the gounds, where we will be able to enjoy the many beautiful sights in this incredible and historic setting, before settling to cook our meal over fire.

Once the session is complete take the chance to explore the gardens further or visit the amazing  Pines Tea Room and Museum, which has the most amazing selection of homemade cakes and bakes.
