Why Choose Corporate Outdoor Cooking?
Wild Classroom provides corporate outdoor cooking in Kent, creating hands-on experiences that bring teams together through fire cooking, collaboration and shared outdoor challenges. At Wild Classroom, we create tailored experiences for corporate team-building days, staff rewards and company away days. With 25 years of teaching experience, Scott guides groups through practical cooking challenges that help colleagues connect, collaborate and build lasting memories outside the office.
Designed for Corporate Team Building
Our corporate outdoor cooking experiences are specifically designed for teams looking to strengthen connections, improve communication, and enjoy a memorable day together. By working collaboratively to prepare and cook food over an open fire, participants naturally develop teamwork and problem-solving skills in a relaxed outdoor setting.
Away from the pressures of the workplace, colleagues can connect, share ideas, and enjoy the satisfaction of creating and sharing a meal together. The result is a rewarding experience that builds stronger relationships and boosts team morale.
Encourages Collaboration
Teams work together to prepare ingredients, manage the fire, and cook dishes, encouraging communication and cooperation.
Breaks Down Workplace Barriers
A relaxed outdoor environment helps colleagues connect in new ways and build stronger working relationships.
Inclusive for Everyone
No cooking experience is required – activities are designed so everyone can contribute and enjoy the experience.
Memorable Shared Experience
Cooking and eating together creates a lasting experience that teams remember long after the event.
Who is this for?
The short answer is EVERYONE!
But whatever your team’s needs I would be prepared to plan it collaboratively with you as to maximise the benefits from the day. Examples of past experiences have included
-
- Corporate team building days
- Staff reward events
- Leadership retreats
- Company away days
- Corporate wellbeing events
Example menus include:
Chilli.
Work together to create two delicious chillies, one vegetarian and one meaty, both delicious.
Pizza.
Not just for the kids. Create your own pizza dough and pizza sauce from scratch before choosing your toppings and cooking them on an open fire.
Crumble.
Who can say no to a crumble? Be it apple, rhubarb or plum. There is nothing more satisfying than when you take the lid of the Dutch oven off the reveal the golden crumble topping below. Both impressive and satisfying your team will learn a skill and have an experience that they will never forget.

What your team will experience
Each and every Wild Classroom outdoor corporate cooking experience will be tailored to your group’s needs, these could be cultural, dietary or educational. The whole workshop will be unique to your group. Prior to the event I will discuss with you and your team about framing the day in terms of both timings and activities.
While cooking over fire is my main focus I am also a trained walk leader and North Downs Ambassador, so can arrange a hike or Net-Walk to fit in with your plans. Another additional experience includes astronomy (weather permitting) looking at the stars at night and the sun during the day using a solar telescope.
With cooking tending to be our main focus, workshops can be a short 90 minute activity or a whole day workshop incorporating a whole range of outdoor cooking skills. The choice will always be yours.
